Freshwater tank refill with pump

Hello all. We do lots of dry camping. What are your recommendations for a water pump to refill our tank?

Thank you!

I would use an RV water pump. You can wire it up with a switch and plug it into the accessory plug on the tow vehicle.

That is what I did also. Its a FloJet that is identical to the one inside the trailer. It makes life easier…

I installed a trolling motor quick connect pigtail on battery. Then I purchased this 12 volt submersible pump
https://www.amazon.com/Enjoydeal-Sub...5073854&sr=8-3
Attached hose so that I can screw on my camco filler attachment. Put switch in cord to pump and attached the other side of quick connect onto cord. Plug it in, submerge the pump and turn on. The pump fits in the mouth of the blue jugs. It will empty the jug faster than I can fill it.

Harbor freight has a good 12v transfer pump with a switch. I use this when taking 55 gallon drums of water to the desert to put water in a trailer that stays there year round. I hook it up to a jumper box and use it anywhere.
