Welcome to the forum

Sorry it has to be under crappy conditions ( sorry couldn't help[ myself)

Couple of questions, Is the valve handle real easy to pull/push?

Did it drain before and suddenly get clogged?

Is this the first time your trying to dump?

Any idea is the previous owner may have left the valve open and been on a long term site?

Sorry to hear about your trouble.

Is it truly full, or are you just relying on your tank gauge? All it takes is a "clingon" piece of TP to throw the gauge into reading full, even when empty. They are totally unreliable. try shining a flashlight down the toilet hole.

If it's not the gauge, you may need to carefully snake the drain line from the gate valve end, but be very careful! When the dam bursts, you may get a bath, if in fact there is a major clog.

Good Luck,

Toilet

If it a used and recently purchased unit, the PO may have put in the ill fabled Ridex. The worse thing that could be put in an RV.

I spent 2 hours back flushing with a hose and rewashing out from the top.
If I could have found the previous owner ,, I could have stuck their head down there. I was lucky to find an open pit and work at it ..
Good luck, but it sounds like you have a bigger problem than gauges.
Chuck been there.
