Furnace Not Working - Part 2

Okay I posted a while ago about our furnace going out. It worked one night and then the next day it was blowing cold air. We turned it off and on again and you can hear it start, but does not complete the ignition cycle. Well, now that our weather is getting a little chilly at night and we have a week planned to camp in October. DH pulled out the furnace to check it yesterday (he is an electrician by trade) and had the troubleshooting schematic and worked his way through the first few things. It is not the limit switch or sail switch. It is a Suburban Furnace SF35FQ. There is no place local to take it to to help troubleshoot. The next step is the igniter but it is so hard to get to he is not sure if we should just purchase a new one or take it the rest of the way apart to keep troubleshooting. We have a Coleman-Mach Thermostat. Any suggestions from the awesome people here would be much appreciated.
Thanks

If he is an electrician and has the skills to troubleshoot, then it boils down to whether or not to spend the man hours to find the problem and fix it. If he can make $100 an hour and doesn't like to work on furnaces, why spend the 6 hours fixing it ($600) when a new furnace is $400??? On the other hand, if he enjoys the challenge and doesn't have anything else to do on a rainy Monday evening....... Each person would need to make the decision on whether to throw it away or repair it based on their own priority.... YMMV

That is exactly what he was thinking. It is not to emergency mode yet, but, it could be soon. You know Michigan. I have an email into Surburban to see if someone is local to look at it but the closest place is Flint. Not too bad, but not around the corner.

So, we have gotten it down to the igniter. Thought it might be the module board - new one ($120.00) and that is not it. So, the last thing on the list is the igniter and that is only about $25.00 bucks.
