Shower Faucet

Since I get such good answers and suggestions to my problems I will ask another question. The shower faucet will not stay set on the cold side. I get in the shower set the temp of the water and the slightest touch to the cold water side and it goes real cold. The hot side has tension on the knob but the cold side does not. Is there a way to tighten up a knob on the faucet so it does not turn at the slightest touch. I took the knob off an looked at the stem but there is no nut to tighten down.

It would make it a little easier to give you an answer if you at least stated what your rig is, model and year. A photo of the faucet would be awesome too. Otherwise, any answer would be a wild guess.

2017 Keystone Hideout 26RLSWE. The faucet is the standard shower faucet that comes in all the Hideouts.

If you remove the faucet handle there should be a large packing nut behind it. If that is tightened a little it should make the knob a little harder to turn. Sounds like that is what you are trying to do. This worked on my faucet when I had that issue. Different camper but most likely the same type of faucet.

These quarter turn faucets are so much better when adjusting and controlling temperature. I upgraded from that OEM faucet assembly and it was one of the best cheap mods I did to my trailer. Took all of 10 minutes.

Looks like you have been given two options, either try and work with the existing problem and say try tightening the packing nut (careful if plastic) OR eliminate the problem by replacing with an upgraded stick home quality. I guess I was lucky and have no plastic junk except on the outside shower. It has its own problem with that quick connect
