Models

Is there a legend that shows what the letters in the different models mean? I have a 217EXP which I would guess means; 21' 7" EXPandable due to the fold out hybrid beds.

So if the numbers represent actual floor length, again, just a guess, what do all the other letters stand for in the other models? Might make for a sticky page.

There has been numerous threads discussing what the model numbers and letters mean. Some think the numbers represent length, others think square footage.

The letters do represent features of that particular unit, for example mine is a 273FWRET. It is 30' 11" in length so the number isn't the length. I haven't measured the square footage because honestly I don't care, it's big enough for us.

The FW means fifth wheel RET means rear entertainment. With the wide range of models I think trying to list even all the letter meanings may be a bit time consuming to create a sticky. Maybe if the other moderators see this and think different we can discuss it.

There is no industry standard but it usually becomes clear after viewing a unit. Mine is a 29RLS. The box is 29' and it is a rear living model with a slide.

I have no clue what my Laredo 5er model number could mean. 305TG... The box is close to 28' long 34' overall. We have a rear bunkhouse, a super slide and outdoor kitchen.

My 303RLS is 34'8" long. I was told the 30 designates the frame length excluding over the bed length. Next I was told the 303 is the sq footage with all 3 slides out. Never measured so I don't care. RLS is Rear Living ond S for slides. Best GUESS is 30' frame rear living and 3 slides. But then ~~ it works great for us so no need to really be sure.

It doesn't have a tub though... Just a neo-angle shower. The shower "tub" is maybe 8-9" deep. Dogs could take a bath in there but definitely not a person :-)

Maybe the G is for overkill gray tanks. I've got a 100 gallon gray capacity! They should have given me 100 gal FW and a normal sized 45gal gray tank.

I remember seeing on another thread, someone though the TG stood for "Tail Gater" because of the outside kitchen. But who knows? I have a 303TG.
