Lippert Remote Instructions

I purchased a 2014 Cougar 337FLS. The remote is set up to control the 4 slides, the awning and front landing gear. It doesn’t have the self-leveling system.

I found one set of instructions but the first step is for changing the password, mine doesn’t have a password to open. It has seven functions set up but the first one is “Lights”. I press the remote and can hear a click at the control panel but no lights turn on. I’ve checked outside for the awning lights and step lights. Nothing.

Does someone have the same model and year of Cougar and still have the instructions? Does anyone have a link for the instructions? I’ve looked for a model number on the remote, none.

It would be nice to have some way of turning on some lights at night before climbing in.

Thanks I figured that one out after a week of it being on.

This is after you open it up to the other functions, the first one says “Lights”. I can hear it click. On a different page it says it for the security lights but it doesn’t turn them on.

Thanks.

Thanks RibTip. I found a different instructions on there and it confirms that it should turn on the security lights. Guess I’m going to have to remove the panel and see what’s clicking when I press the button. Want to see if there’s more of the lights I can get to work off the remote.

Yea i got the reprogram instructions because i have 2 slots open on my unit. I wanted to do the same but got scared to mess with it. Im still not sure if i can add buttons to the remote without reprogramming everything. Have someone with a volt meter check the outputs on your unit when your hitting that button and see whats working what. Do you have any empty slots. Maybe its wotking but no wires are hooked up. Ex. Maybe the remote is just programmed to the wrong slot on the unit.

I have 4 slides, 1 awning and the front landing gear. Of course the clicking lights, so I have 1 left. But I’ll have to check. I also saw one about the fuses. I would like to redo the sequence that they are in. I’m tempted to add 12 volt relays and a different controller for the other lights inside and out.

I’m not worried about playing with the programming, I taught myself how to build computers and repair them. Never liked video games but getting a computer to operate the way I wanted was my game.

I downloaded it but haven’t logged in and started. I have friends that have a very new Reflection with the self leveling system but no remote, so the next time I see them I’ll show it to them.
