IMHO unless the original is broken keep it!
Our last 5er had the keyless with the entry buttons seperate from the handle, every time it rained or I washed the rig it would fill with water & wouldn't unlock the door, fortunately hadca key in the truck. I had remove 2 VERY tiny screws from the bottom while standing on my head, they were very awkward to get to, remove the little flat battery & let it dry out so it would stop beeping & start working. A real PITA! The last time it occurred when I removed the battery I left it out & used the key. RV Lock customer service sent the "new & improved" replacement a couple different times, but same thing.
So keep the original & be sure to hide a key somewhere.
