Welcome to the forums. Congrats on getting your new Cougar.

Advise? take lots and lots and lots of photos of your new camper while it is still new. Photograph every square inch of the camper, inside, outside, top, bottom, over, and under. These will be priceless reference photos for the future. Things happen, parts age out, items break, you make changes, all of these over time will cloud your original memory of what the camper was really like when you first got it. Photos don't lie. They are a priceless reference point for your future.

My only regret is, I never took enough photos and the photos I took, I wish I would have picked up more fine details of absolutely everything.

Next word of advise ... have fun! Enjoy!

Happy camping!

Welcome from SE Texas.
My only advice would be to pull that Cougar to Tanglewood Park up at Clemmons and kick back.

Hello PamR, and welcome!

Congrats on that new Cougar!

If you can, try spending a night or two "camping" in your driveway. This will allow you to become familiar with the Cougar's systems, and identify any stuff that needs fixing.

Have fun out there, and stay safe!

Add your info to your signature such as year, model, special additions, vehicle and tow assembly.

Knowing all the details helps readers know specifics about helping.
Cougars can be similar in equipment, location and operation but can differ from year to year, even some changes during the half year line changes.
