Letchworth State Park, NY
Has anyone stayed at Letchworth State Park in NY? Please provide any comments, good or bad.

2 years ago i went to letchworth and surrounding areas i stayed at houghton/letchworth koa not at the park facility. I found lots to do from beautiful hiking trails whitewater rafting fishing horseback riding drive in movies/barbecue and shopping in all the little towns in the area . It is beautiful and would like to go back again !

I have camped there quite a few times and concur with what markdol said above. I cannot think of anything negative regarding the place.

thank you, it was listed in one of the RV newsletters we receive and I wanted unbiased opinions. Looks like we will be adding Letchworth to our plans for this year.

We have stayed at both Letchworth State Park and the Letchworth KOA. The falls are beautiful and the river is nice to wade/soak in. A few years ago the old steel high arch train trestle over the gorge was torn down and was replaced. Not nearly as historic or notable, but it is a sight to be experienced floating in the river as a mile long train passes high overhead.

Letchworth State Park has a nice campground, we have stayed there several times. Great hiking throughout the park!

That was the very first campground we stayed at with our new Cougar 29BHS back in 2019. Drove it from Michigan through Canada and into New York. Fantastic campground, wonderful scenery. Would love to go back!

We stayed there several times. Beautiful area, clean restrooms and friendly staff, Very knowledgeable about the area, as most are locals.. Highly recommend it
