Decent Campground around Fon Du Lac, Wi?

We just booked a few nights in the UP and want to make it a two day drive.
Fon Du Lac puts us just past the halfway point, so looks like a good spot to spend a night both ways.
Anyone have personal experience with CGs in the area?
Breezy Hill, Benson's and Kettle Moraine KOA pop up on the googlers, all have the typical mixed reviews.
Any recent person experience would be greatly appreciated!
TIA!

We're going in mid August, so we'll miss that rush, thankfully.
Circle R in Oshkosh is looking good, so far. It'll just be overnight each way.

There is a nice county park campground in Waupaun, about 15 miles southwest of Fond du lac. We’ve camped there and the facilities were spotless.

We booked at the Circle R in Oshkosh for the midpoint.
Again, mixed reviews, like most CGs.
I'd made the res before seeing the suggestion from 86GT2r.
If we don't care for Circle R, we may check it out on the way home.
Thanks for the input!

Just realized I never updated this after our trip.
The trip was great, save for Wisconsin roads. They weren't terrible, but not good.
The UP was awesome. Highs in the 70's, lows in the 50's. We're ready to go back.

Circle R in Oshkosh is in transition, I would say.
New, younger, energetic owners are working to bring it into the new century.
And are as nice as can be, to boot.
Some of the old sites are a bit torn up, due to new utilities being installed.
The new sites are smoother, more level, but no shade.

If you're looking for a place to stay for the airshow, this is your place.
I would bet you can sit by your rig and watch planes all day.
It was far enough out of town, and close enough to the highway to be handy and still quiet.
I bet by next summer, it will be a very nice place, and the homemade pizza at the little bar there is damn good!

We stayed at the Fon Du Lac KOA in September 2021 for an overnight. If just passing through, this is a pretty interesting campground. It met all of our needs and we enjoyed the visit very much. It's a very large campground and for an overnight, it was very nice.

We showed up right when the campground was having an event so lots of activity going on right then, kids running from campsite to campsite getting candy and such.

The campground (the section we were in) was pretty much all seasonal campers. Folks knew each other and had a social connection going on. I could tell they were not just strangers, but actually neighbors and friends.

We were parked on a gravel spot. Management was very friendly and helpful. We had 50 amp service and water. (I don't remember sewer hook up though. That might have been one of those time we simply "too it with us" rather than bothering getting out the hoses.)

It was quiet at night. It is off the main road quiet a lot. It's not near any interstates or highways where you hear road noise all night.

For an overnight I think this campground will work well for you.

Our campsite:

I can't remember what all of this was all about:
