YES
Just the pressure on supply hose, could come back and find hose burst and wasting water all over the campsite.
We turnoff gas & electric on HW Heater when out.

Bob, what model is that Watts you posted? I just replaced my several year-old adjustable regulator (Renator, much like or exact to the Valterra). I wouldn't mind a better one that lasts longer.

The Watts regulator is a 3/4" LFN45B, and I used brass adapter fittings to make it work with standard hose connections at each end. https://www.amazon.com/Pressure-Redu...08LY8T0K&psc=1

The Watts LFH560-G-3/4 [LINK], which is what I've had for 25 years, has seriously zoomed up in price but was the original model made for RVs. It comes with hose fittings and a gauge.

EDIT: Hm, seems to be available at the same price as the other model [LINK] if you shop a little.

We were at a state park in Indiana Thanksgiving weekend 2022. Someone ran over one of the water spigots and this was the result. Anyone want to guess what the PSI is here? I have no idea myself, but this sure was entertaining!

Probably not all that high but a complete and clean break. I would say 50 to 60 pounds of pressure.
