My wife and I utilize our 25RDS year round, we simply avoid ice and below zero conditions. Doing a little more underside sealing after taking delivery, the "All Seasons" rating is somewhat realistic. However, this week we experienced something new, yet obvious. The 20 Amp fuse on the 12v circuit for the Dometic 2872 Refrigerator blew as well as the replacements. We had just escaped from being weatherbound in the Little Rock area and traveled to Tulsa in the gap between the 2nd and 3rd wave of the Ice Storms. We travel with the gas secured and refrigerator off. Since the 110 AC portion was working without issue, I postponed working on it until we got home today. Opened the lower external vent panel to find everything coated in a film of salt. Took a half gallon of RO water and flushed the exposed circuitry let it dry and presto, no more blown fuses, and the gas mode fired off without issue.
Hoping this helps others avoid unnecessary repair charges!
