Electric awning

My brother-in-lay has an electric awning on 2010 FW. I believe it’s a Dometic.

The awning has no adjustment to lower one corner so that the rain drains of.

I remember seeing a post on this problem where a fix was suggested, but I cannot find it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

We had a 2010 Montana with the Dometic electric awning. There were knobs on each arm to allow you to pull down a corner and tighten the know to keep that corner lower for drainage. Don't know if that feature was on all Dometic electric awnings, or an optional feature on the Montana.

This is correct, you should see a slot in the lower arm where it will slide and then tighten the knob as stated above.

That's the problem, no knob or slot on his unit.

Mine has this adjustment.
