I have a 2017 Keystone Sprinter, 35FWden yet for some reason cannot locate the convetor?? The trailer has an invertor which works great.

The CONVERTER charges the battery and provides 12VDC to the trailer. An INVERTER uses battery power to provide 110VAC.

If you have a residential style fridge you will have an inverter. Converters are either the bottom half of the breaker/fuse panel, or usually close to the power distribution panel, often times behind it.

Forgive me for asking, as this is all new to me, yet where is the power distribution panel? Ask as the converter is not near the breaker/fuse panel.

Power distribution panel has all the 110V breakers and the 12V fuses. Actual location can vary based on model/floor plan. As a rule it is near the floor.

That is a VERY nice camper!

If you look in the lower right hand cabinet below the television you'll see the power distribution panel. Your converter is almost guaranteed to be behind that. Two ways to get to the converter:
1. Turn off all power to the camper (including batteries) and remove the power distribution panel. There is plenty of cable slack to pull it out of the way.
2. Remove the heater.
It's kind of a toss up which is easier to do. Heaters tend to only be held in place by four screws or so, and aren't really very heavy. Removing it will give you a pretty large opening to reach through to get to that pesky converter.

Good luck!
