Pressure tank / Water pump issue

Hi folks.

4th TT and 4th accumulator/pressure tank install. The issue(s) I am having is that pump takes much longer than I think it should to fill the tank (5 minutes+) and when the toilet is flushed or shower is on, the pump kicks in and runs even with what should be a full pressure tank and does not shut off.

After running the water pump for a few minutes and then switching it off, the tank functions as expected until empty.

I am not getting the pump cycle when tank pressure drops and refills. the pump just runs.

Details:
- 2021 Passport 2500RKWE
- 7gallon pressure tank factory set at 38psi
- No leaks with the tank install
- Tank is tee'd into the cold tap connection of the outside shower conveniently under the kitchen sink.

- Water pump - Flojet 03526144 2.9gpm - in nightstand at front of the trailer
- Pressure tank installed under the kitchen sink at rear of the trailer 20+ft away
- Bathroom is midway between the pump and tank.

Water pump is not very accessible so picture was taken by reaching phone in the nightstand I don't see any adjustment screws in the pictures but they could be there? Before I start adjusting things I don't understand looking for thoughts on where my issue might be? Three previous installs on other trailers were pretty much plug and play.

My thoughts....
- Water pump is not powerful enough at 2.9gpm given the run?
- Water pump shut of pressure noted on pump is 50psi, is that an issue with the tank at 38psi??

Thx
Britt

The accumulator tank should be fed directly from the water pump, then out to the water system.
