Seward Alaska

The city RV parks are open but at 1/2 capicity for "social distancing" They are only taking reservations. There is no first come first serve as there has been in the past. Not sure if the showers and restrooms will open up they were closed during our 3 night stay. $40 a night water and electric $20 dry. dump station is down the street $5.

Stayed at Stoney Creek RV Park outside Seward a few years ago. Enjoyed the area. We were at the Pit Stop one afternoon having a beer when the bar tender told everyone to stay inside because a bear was in the parking lot. I was the only person who didn’t go outside to see the bear. I’d seen plenty already.

I wonder how that is going to affect RV traffic, considering the closure of both the Canadian and US borders. Us "lower 48ers", who would have been traveling north this summer, most likely won't. Seward is one of our stops if and when we're able to go. So many RVers are now moving their 2020 Alaska trip to 2021.
