Black tank, Repair or replace

So what is everyone doing for a cracked black tank? Replacing looks like it’s going to be expensive, around $300 for the tank and another $100 for shipping from what I’ve seen on line. Anyone have a cheaper source for these. Mine is an Ameri-Kart Model #HT176B . It is cracked on the bottom around the outlet from about 3 o’clock to 9 o’clock. Can the ABS material be repaired with some kind of epoxy with any piece of mind of not cracking again?

The underbelly repair tape also seems expensive at $124. for a 4” X 60 yard roll. Is there another kind of tape just as good but cheaper, Gorilla tape maybe?

Also looking for a good source for the Coroplast underbelly material.

You can get a tank patch kit. It contains sand paper to prep the surface, fiberglass mesh and a two part epoxy. I’ve had some success, but if the repair is in a spot that will see flexing, it’s a crap shoot. I wouldn’t cut the coroplast, just undo enough fasteners to get the work done. Gorilla tape will work but it won’t hold as long as scrim tape. I bet you could buy it by the foot at your local RV parts counter.
