How do you replace a broken screen door plastic slide ? Outback travel trailer 2012.

Standard rv screen door used by many manufacturers. The parts counter at most any rv shop should have them. Take the broken one with you to verify an exact match.

Edit to add: if you go to an rv place that doesn't sell your brand of trailer, you may find it very helpful not to tell them that. Many, many rv parts are common across brands and manufacturers but the dealers and employees just don't seem to comprehend that fact.

I would assume you just bend it and pop it out? Ours pops out a little on occasion...

CW sells them online in all different colors. I prefer CLEAR so it does not block the view coming out the door. If I remember right ... one size fits all and you have to cut the solid part, and yes it just bends to remove and install. I'm sure you can find them cheaper but for some reason CW always comes to mind first.

Glenoak, Howdy;

There is enough 'slop' to be able to move the whole plastic unit up and
down perhaps 1/4 to 1/8". As it's already in the down position simply
and GENTLY peel one corner out of the track it slides in.
Install is a basic reversal of extraction.
I just walked over and removed and reinstalled mine just to see if it would ...
it did.

i would like to replace mine with the clear one with round button that you push down to unlock latch.the only ones i have found are 9 inches and standard is 12 inch,does anyone know of 12 inch replacement?

There are 2 screws in the edge of the door that support the track the plexiglass slides in. Just remove those screws and it will come right out.

A quick search of campingworld.com and I found the 12" Slide Set (http://www.campingworld.com/shopping...slide-set/6293).

I used the key words screen door and found both of these items on the first try. I bet you would have as well.

I never thought of a clear one...I should look into that. mine is white and is obstructs the view of the tv...LOL.
