Need help on 50 amp adapter

We have a 2011 Cougar 327. I would like to get a 50 amp to 30 amp dog bone
adapter so I don't have to use the 50 amp cord unless I need the 50 amps. What kind of an adapter do I need to fit the plugin on the back of the trailer?

I think this is what you are looking for. I use one of these and can use a regular extension cord when you don't need the air. I hate the big heavy 50A cord.

Need help on 50 amp adapter

I bought a Marinco 50a to 30a cord set that was 25 ft long to use at my house instead of 50a cord. The camper end is 50a the plug end is 30a. Works like a charm...ps check amazon for better prices.

Randy Sent this!!

On my trailer, the connector is located at the back of the trailer. Seems like the supplied cord is frequently too short. Why did they do it that way?

This is what I use. Can connect to your 50A and reduce down to what ever. Plus, most of us already have a 30A cord.

ADAPTER power cord for home

Camco 55552 18" 50 Amp Male Standard / 50 Amp Female Powergrip Locking Adapter from Amazon
This adapter allows you to use 50amp 240/120V range or dryer connectors and the 4 wires (#10)give you 30amp 240/120volt service to your trailer. I use this at home and I run two ac's and lights. Others give you 30A 120volt power (half the power). I have the 240/120 volt 30amp service in my garage that I installed. BE absolutely sure how to wire the connectors and wire must be protected with 2 pole 30a breaker!!! The Camco adapter plugs in to the rear of the 50a trailer shore power connector & in to the 50amp 4 pole range/dryer outlet on the cord to the trailer.
