Top of black front cap is fading!
The top of the cap on my 2013 Fuzion 315 is fading. I just picked it up from the dealer in feb., the build date was June 2012. Are any of you having the same problem with the black cap on the 5er's? The dealer even put a so called sealer "Maxxguard" on it. How can I bring the paint back? How should I protect it. The black cap on my rig really makes it stand out, I'd like to keep it looking good. Thanks guys!

Mine is doing the same thing, it's '12 model. it's not paint, it's a gel coat. Not a paint.
I'm thinking of going the boat hull polishing route. Damn decals are in the way though.

Front cap
Most of the front caps on the fuzions are plastic. I haven't looked close to the black ones. As mine is white. But I'm here to tell ya the sun is bad on our rigs. One bad thing about keystone is the decals. They will peel fast from the sun. Now I love my fuzion so don't take me as I'm bashing them. But if you look around at other manufactures I don't see them peeling or fading as fast. I keep mine covered to keep this from being a issue. I had a larado 5er before this one and with in 2 years the decals peeled and front cap faded bad.

Beerdude, I'm in the same boat with ya. '12 Fuzion 399 that I've had for a year and couple of months,...faded. Decals already started peeling too. My previous toy hauler was a Skyline Rampage 387. Had it for 7 years and it didn't start showing signs of fading and decals peeling until the last year I owned it. And it was only parked inside for one summer. The rest of the time was outside in Arizona.

You might try 303 Aerospace protectant - works on plastic, rubber, vinyl decals, and fiberglass siding. It is highly rated on other threads I've read, supposed to provide some level of UV protection, and makes it look really nice. It's one of the few things you can actually apply to decals without drying them out.
I've applied it all over my trailer including parts of the rubber roof, the plastic cap, trim strips, and tires, but beware not to use too much of it or streaking will occur (on the siding). A little bit goes a looooooooong way!
Of course, if you're the type who doesn't really want to do much of any washing, shining, wiping on your rig, then you can look forward to everything plastic and vinyl fading, cracking, getting brittle, oxidized with the sun. That's what I went through with my last trailer.

Guys are washing with TSP, then using Bar Keepers Friend with a white scoring pad, the applying Red Max Pro floor wax, (or Zep "WET LOOK" on the west coast). The results are supposed to be AMAZING.

We have the same problem with our 325 SRX. I am very frustrated to have a unit less than 2 years old with so much fading. Talked to the dealer and no results. I am very disappointed that Keystone has not recognized that there is a problem.

3M
Beerdude - Check out the pictures of this other thread, thanks to Max, we have had awesome success with the 3M Polish / Wax. I was super unhappy with the fading oxidation, however looks like new again.
