Slide out supports

Does anyone use supports when their slide out is open?

We have a 14' super slide on our TT and it came with a set
of supports from the PO.

I looked in the owners manual and did not find any reserence
yes or no on this subject.

Comments? Opinions?

I was wondering the same thing. I am picking up our 2910BH this saturday and one of my questions was going to be the same as yours.

There has been some concern expressed that by inserting slide supports under the slide that it prevents the slide from "giving" slightly and places unnecessary stress on the slide walls and floor. When there is weight on the slide from people sitting at the table or couch, the slide does flex ever so slightly. It is thought that by making the slide rigid by adding supports, that it does not allow this movement to take place and instead adds stress on the slide structure.
Personally, our slide does not move that much that I would consider adding supports. It seems to be quite stable and firm as is.

As stated many times on many forums.... NO!!! Don't use them.
