Grey Water Pull Handle
I have a Keystone Bullet Premier and had to repair the aluminum pull handle for the grey water valve. I think what happened is that the flimsy aluminum extension handle had fractured right at the steel threaded portion. This handle threads onto a steel piece coming from the valve itself. When opening the grey water valve, it’s essential not to inadvertently bend the pull sideways - only directly in line with the steel part. Over time, a portion of the aluminum thread fractures and remains threaded. Luckily, I did not loose the aluminum extension piece.
I think this is a critical point of failure and needs to be redesigned by Keystone.
Would appreciate any input.

If you're attempting to convey your concerns to Keystone. This site is not affiliated with Keystone RV Manufacturing Company and they do not monitor this site. To my knowledge, I've never seen any "official Keystone" response to any post on this forum and there are no identifiable employees of Keystone that are members here.
In order to convey your message, you'll need to contact Keystone RV and discuss the issues with them. Their contact information and links are on the Keystone RV website.
As for "my own thoughts", it may be that the engineers designed the weakest link to be outside the valve body to prevent a much greater damage and repair expense. If it was all "steel and stronger than the plastic valve body" you might find the damage from "not pulling it straight without bending" would be significantly greater than what you've experienced. So, think about the why not just the what when you give Keystone a call to complain. Good Luck...

Welcome to the forum: wlcm:
The other thing to consider is that Keystone isn’t the only RV manufacturer that uses this design, They also don’t make the valves or extensions.

If that's the worst thing that happens to your RV, you are one blessed person.

I have a grey water issue and would appreciate any input.
I am buying an Outback 332FK, where the sellers had cut drain and cemented white 3" PVC into a septic system perhaps with a valve that was downstream of the trailer. Can someone send or post a photo of what their Outback 332FK Black and Grey water drain configuration looks like? Do the Black and Grey water both join into the one drain?
If so, at the minimum I will have to install an 90 Black ABS elbow, a short section of 3" DWV Drain Pipe and Termination Adapter (3" Bayonet x 3" Hub) with some sort of Camco or Valterra Valve configurations.
Please help. I'll post a photo of the solution once I figure it out. Thanks Daniel

If they were permanently connected to a septic system leaving the valves open you may have even worse issues with the black tank.
Toilet paper & poop dry to form a real nasty concrete like substance which is what happens when the black tank valve is left open draining the liquid leaving the solids.

If you only have 2 tanks, it’s fairly simple. You can get a termination fitting with a 3” opening for the black and a 1 1/2” for the gray tank. Both tanks will have a 3” drain and the gray may have a reducer. If any of the ABS pipe is still there I would just cut at the PVC fittings and use ABS couplers.
