Hi..... Wait... HI!!!!!
Thanks for permitting me into the forum.. We did a thing last June (I know it took me this long to find this forum). We are a family of 3.. I grew up in a camping family and my wife........ She went camping, but her family's idea of camping is going somewhere and staying at a hotel.. As for my daughter. She um... Well, she camps in cabins at girl scout camp..
I grew up camping in tents (the old canvas green Coleman tents, you may know.. The ones that if they got wet, you needed about five people to lift them then had to set them up in a barn or basement to air out for about a week so they could dry) for About 20 yrs I didn't have the ability to camp with work but 2020 and this whole covid issue. Our Disney Cruise was canceled, so I told my wife. We are going to look into getting a camper.. Surprisingly she agreed (I'm still in shock), so I started asking family members for pointers. And ended up looking high and low. I visited a few dealers and talked things over.. Well June 6th, 2020, we bought a 2020 Keystone Passport GT Series... Went camping 3 times last year and have booked 6 trips already for this year starting in May.
I'll post pics of the camper and truck we pull it with shortly. And I'm sure I will ask a few questions as they pop in my head while I'm perusing the forum...
Thanks in advance for putting up with the noob questions!!!

The truck is a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 (not exactly stock under the hood.... In the pic you can see the truck with the "Carolina lean back" this has been upgraded as well). My brother-in-law runs a shop, and we decided to rebuild the suspension in the rear, and me being me, I had to tinker and quite possibly go overboard... Replacing the stock bump stops with 2 new bump stops rated for 8000lbs from E-trailer and air shocks (Monroe) rated for 1500lbs from a local truck parts shop. I run the shocks at about 70lbs of pressure can go up to 150lbs if needed but with this setup the truck barely squats now even with a bed full of fire wood, coolers, bikes and 2 propane tanks 1 for the black stone griddle and the other for emergency needs.
