Solar

I have a 2017 Keystone Springdale 303BHWE and is pre-wired for solar. Does anyone know of a system that will plug right in to the current plug? I am looking to add three 100w panels to my trailer. Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the forum

Prewired as in there are cables or a connection port on the roof? Or just the little connection port on the side near the front?

Installing solar on the roof is simple and fairly easy even if nothing is there. You just need to decide on brand and wattage. I would put as many watts that will fit using 3 panels.

Thank you so very much! Pre-wired: has a small male/female plug near the head of the trailer.

That will be for a small 10A Max portable solar charger. I would forget about it and do a complete install. There are kits available with everything you need and instructions. Go Power is what I used to install for years, current shop uses Renology. I like them both, Renology is less expensive.

Again thank you. Do you by chance have a particular model in mind or are they all pretty much the same?

I think you’ll do good with either GoPower or Renology. I don’t have solar as we only camp in full hookups and trailer is stored in back yard, so no need.
