Rear kayak rack

We are thinking about switching from a TT to a fish wheel this winter. I hate to lose the bed space in the truck and I need ideas on hauling 2 kayaks and 2 bikes. I have read about not mounting items to the rear bumper but i found a kayak/bike rack that mounts to a rear receiver. Is there a safe way to mount a receiver to the rear of a fifth wheel to hold this weight?

Never worked on one of those yet LOL

I would get a welding shop to attach the receiver to the frame for the best results. Understand that it will most likely void the frame warranty as it is a modification.

If the trailer says it’s prepped for a rear receiver or already has one installed what exactly does that mean?

That would mean it has one or you can install one. Watch the weight ratings- typically its 300 lbs or less.

Time to think out of the box!
Pin box mounted receiver for bikes, you can actually carry four with a short bed! They also ride smother.
Forward mounted roof rack for kayaks, will likely need support to bumper.
