Thanksgiving at Garner State Park

We have always been "traditional" with the Thanksgiving holidays. Stay home, cook turkey, nap, watch football, etc. Not this year! I asked my wife and girls if they wanted to take the camper out for Thanksgiving (expecting serious kickback) they all said heck ya! So, we informed all the family that was out plans. Funny, they all thought it was a great idea and are going to join us. My parents are renting a cabin nearby and my father in law is dragging his camper down as well. Excited to do something different.

Re: Thanksgiving at Garner State Park

We are doing the same. The entire family and friends are having turkey day at the springs. We have at turkey time the club show up. The best year was when I learned of trash can turkey. Seemed like the entire park showed up . Great time.
