That's one reason I always remove the refrigerator access cover, put a piece of plastic sheeting behind it and reinstall the door. I do the same with the hot water heater and then use aluminum duct tape to seal the furnace vents. It helps to keep the "weather out" of the RV interior.
I've never had a problem with snow being blown into the refrigerator space from the roof vent, I think partly because once snow covers the roof, there's no opening for it to blow in. If I had a top vent that was installed above the lower one (in a slide) I'd also put a piece of plastic sheeting behind it.
Another consideration is that it "might" help to keep critters out as well.
