Issue with furnace/AC system

This past weekend while camping I noticed that whenever we turn on the furnace the AC comes on too and it never really heats up and runs forever. I ended up just turning off the breaker for the AC and then it warmed right up. My last TT did not do this, is it supposed to be like this or is the AC and furnace wired incorrectly? It's a Cougar 327RES 5th Wheel.

If you do a forum search on this subject you will see it is very common. Set your thermostat "FAN" to "AUTO" and the a/c fan will only come on for a/c.

Yes, it is actually just the fan that is running bringing in cold air. Once on auto you will be good to go.
