Myrtle Beach

We're planning a road trip without the RV to Myrtle Beach Feb/24...well I've actually booked the hotel in MB and the stop on the way in Summersville Booking.com makes booking early easy with free cancellation if needed The plan is to check out some long term stay campsites and be an eventual snowbird...of course some golf, fine dining, beach walking and exploring will be hopefully mandatory Anyway, leaving from Toronto and down thru Pittsburgh...any advice, tips, nice stops appreciated...this trip was booked and cancelled last year due to covid, border restrictions, and booking.com

We stayed here before and liked it. I believe it is the largest RV park on the East Coast. I think 50% of the world supply of golf carts are in this park and in their storage lot...lol
There are many RV parks in the area, some just right next to this one. Finding one you like should be easy.

If you are looking at long term stay spots, consider Daddy Joe's Jellystone Park in Tabor City NC. Just over the state line and not a long drive to the beach. We stayed there for seven months while our house was being built in SC. Close to midway between Whiteville NC and Conway SC. It is a family run park that is top shelf. Indoor pool, outdoor pools, great facilities and all of it very nicely kept. Yes, it is not MB but if you are going to the golf courses most are not in MB anyway.

Sorry for the late response, was camping for the last long weekend of the season. Appreciate the suggestion Martian and will look into it thanks. How are you liking your 22RBS? We have the 2018 model...it's been perfect for the two of us and an easy tow.
