AC keeps shutting off with E5 error code

So here I go again! Once again I own a 2012 Keystone Springdale with a Dometic Brisk Air II Air Conditioner. When we turn it on, it will start but immediately shut off. It does this repeatedly until we shut it off again. When it is doing this there is a E5 error code flashing on thermostat. So we have kept it off for a day or so at a time and when tried again it is the same thing. When I searched error code it mentions the freezer sensor?? I know NOTHING about it. Can anyone help me out? Oh yeah...we have tried shutting down all power to RV and it still did same thing. Thank you!

E5 code is for the freeze sensor. It is located in the coils and it may have fallen out or failed. you need to remove the filter and you may be able to see it.

Look here:

Chuckster is way more knowledgeable than me. I only talk when I have first-hand experience with the topic.

I caused our front AC to E5/Freeze over by running it on low. Didn't know any better and water started pouring on my wife's head while she was getting ready for work (silver lining/good laugh).

Water ended up getting to the board (only possible do to crappy electrical work) and I had to replace it. So E5 turned into a E1 (no communication). Luckily, the daisy chain didn't break so my other two units still ran.

So if you happen to run it on low. Don't. Auto or High. (Speaking for Domestic).
