Dometic fridge has E0 code after 8-10 hours of running

Runs for a while then stops . I Ave to power down a few times to
get running again.

No idea what Dometic fridge model you have.. You said you powered down but did you remove both shore power and battery power to reset? if not remove both and while they are removed located the control module outside at fridge lower access panel vent and check all wires to control module and make sure they are connected tightly..

I would also reseat both the 12volt DC ATC style fuse and the glass fuse ( for 120 volt heaters) and then power back up and observe if issue returns

If it does you may need to check the eyebrow panel connection from the outside control module up to the eye brow panel for good connection at both ends

More questions:

You say "after 10 hours it has a E0 code". Is that when running on the electric element or when running in the gas mode? If running on "battery power and gas mode, it may be a battery charge issue and if running on shore power, it may be a loose corroded connector"....

Also, I'd unplug and reinsert/replug all of the connections on the control board module on the back of the refrigerator. DO THIS WITH ALL POWER DISCONNECTED !!!!! The E-0 error code is a "loss of communication" code and usually is either a corroded or a loose connection, probably on the control module plugs.

If you have Not removed the eye brow panel and reseated that ribbon cable as well as the other end of the ribbon cable running to the outside lower control board that is the area I would focus on.

If you have done the above and the problem still intermittently recurs then either the lower control board is failing or the ribbon cable isn't passing the data back and forth to the eye brow panel

When the Eye brow panel can't talk to the lower control board the E0 error will occur.

Glad to hear new control board appears to have fixed the issue. Curious if you looked over the old control board and if so did you see any evidence of burnt marks anywhere on the circuit traces..
