That's weird!
Our Norcold double door fridge made 6-8 ice cubes & we couldn't use them fast enough.

Your new fridge looks really nice. You did a nice job. Maybe I missed it in the posts, but what brand of refrigerator did you go with?

For what it's worth, we have, factory installed, a Samsung residential in ours. Once I figured out how to turn the ice maker "on", it's worked great ever since! 4 years running now and no problems. So, maybe not "all" Samsung's are trash.
