Lighted switch wiring

The lighted switch in my bathroom works backwards (light on-switch down-illuminated switch lit up - light off-switch up-illuminated switch not lit up). There are 3 wires on the back of the switch (top post and middle post wires
are white with a green stripe and the bottom post terminal has 2 white wires).
(I would think I would think the switch should be down, the light off and the switch illuminated). Any suggestions?

I assume you have a Keystone RV of some Kind.. Make and year would be nice to include..

If its a Keystone the wiring color code is standardized after around 2018 I think.. This link will perhaps be of use..

The White wires with green stripes are the (+) side of the circuit..

The solid White wires are (-) side of circuit

It's apparently not mandatory, should be, but highly recommended that you add a signature with your rv & tow vehicle so it will appear on every question or comment you post, with this you won't t be ask every time what rv you're referring to.

The reason its useful to know year and make of an RV when someone needs help is it narrows down the help to be offered..

In this case I offered you the wire color coding for Keystone assuming you owned a Keystone.. The color code info may not have been useful if you owned an airstream, grand design, forest river..

But - you at least now now what those wires mean at that switch and rewiring should be a very simple task for you to obtain the desired results
