What color is my couch?

Hi,

What color is my couch? It’s a 2013 Hideout.

I’d like to have my dinette cushion bottoms upholstered to match the couch. Anyone know the color name?

Thanks.

I have no idea what the color is called but it appears to come with the "Maplecrest" interior decor for that year Hideout. Look through the brochure attached:

I'd suggest pulling out from the wall and maybe flip it over. Find a little bit the you can cut off, say just past where it's stapled underneath. Then take that sample with the cushions to the upholstery shop for them to match.

I was in the furniture business for 40+ years before I retired. There is no standard for color name in upholstery fabrics. Each manufacturer creates their own description for the fabric color. You would need the name of the fabrics' manufacturer, their fabric name and color to try to get more. In addition, the life span of a particular fabric is at best a few years. Then they come up with a new version with different colors and names.

Getting an exact match would be tough. Best thing is to get a clipping as mentioned previously. Take it to a good automotive upholstery shop. They will have a huge assortment of samples of available fabrics. If you find a close match, they will probably have to order it for you.

One more thing. Per the picture, yours has a mottled finish (light and dark) which won't be represented when you clip some fabric.
