Clearcoat nose

Has anyone re- clearcoated? The nose of my Bullet has worn away completely after 3 years. Any recommendations?

Here is a little info in an old associated link. It is quite common to see Bullets (and others, of course) with terrifically faded caps in RV parks. I think you'll find it will take more than a new clearcoat.

When you say "worn away" can you post some pictures or clarify a bit? When cars were first clear coated from the factory they had lots of issues with the prep and it would peel and flake off like an old sunburn. I've also seen clear coat "yellow" with age. There have been issues reported of dark color caps fading but I believe they are fiberglass caps and are not painted and therefore not clear coated.
