Reciever hitch

Does any know if a reciever hitch that came off a mid 90's Chevy 2500 would fit on a early 2000's F250? Are they universal for truck sizes?

Generally they are make and model specific. The ball mount and drop are interchangeable within each manufacturer and sometimes even from one to another

You mean the hitch with the ball, or the box tube (receiver) that mounts to your truck frame? The frame mount thing is usually model-specific, but the ball and drop/rise hitch should fit in any Class IV receiver.
