Probably not gone. Hopefully not forgotten. Too much useful information on this forum.

Getting ready to sign the papers on our Forest River 2022 Vibe 26RK this weekend. Upgrading from the Keystone Springdale Mini 1750RD that we've had since 2017. Looking forward to more room but will miss being able to fit in almost any camp site. Put a lot of miles on that thing.

Will actually be about 12 feet longer. The 1750RD was 21.4 feet with the hitch and the 26RK is 33.5 feet. We will be double checking the reservations we already made for 2023. We upgraded the TV last spring from the Sierra 1500 with about 1600# payload to the F-350 SRW with about 3600#. The DW immediately started looking at new trailers.

Congrats on the upgrade. Feel free to stick around, no matter the brand they are all built using the same stuff.

Thanks! Now I get to redo tires, rims, valve stems, bearings, and suspension components on two axles instead of just one.

When gals look at trailers, they immediately notice that the long the trailer the more space and amenities. When we go to an RV show, the missus always gravitates to the front living room 5vers with heated/massaging recliners, a walk in huge shower and lots of counter space around the bath sink and kitchen. You can't get that in a camper our size but thankfully she has never had temporary insanity and pulled out the check book.

Stick around, no sense taking off with a new trailer! Like Chuck said they're all made the same. When we had a small(er) trailer I loved being able to just drop into any hole/slot/spot in the forest or by a lake/river. I truly loved it but as time has gone by (a lot of time) we have come to appreciate the larger space in a bigger trailer and deal with campsites accordingly. Good luck on the size change. I figure you will find there are nothing but positives.

The FR forum is owned by the same gaggle as owns this one and I am the Keystone forum login works there as well. If you look at the topics, you wouldn't know it was a FR or Keystone forum as the same topics seem to pop up everywhere. I honestly think if most of the forums were merged it wouldn't matter much as far as RV related questions/answers go. I am still a member of the Forest River forum as my last camper was a TH 5th wheel but I can say we have some better gurus on this site; not by a lot but enough that this site is a nose ahead. I am a member of IRV2.com but don't care for the site much as there is a lot of mis-information on tech subjects and everyone is a rigid expert on everything.

Hello Randi & Shirley,

As others have stated, no need to depart this forum! Lots of advice given is applicable to most all RV brands, and you know we are the most knowledgeable and friendly bunch around!

Have fun with the new Forest River!

Our first two 5vers were under the Forest River Umbrella. I usually come here and read the newest posts then go to the Forest River Forum and do the same. No need to walk away.

Went from Forrest River to Keystone and back to Forest River so I also spend time in both but typically still more time here.

In 2009 I bought a new keystone copper canyon and in 2014 traded it in on a Keystone Raptor. Two of the best rigs we have ever owned. In 2019 sold the Raptor and bought a Forest River. Biggest mistake I ever made. Owned it a year and sold it and went back to keystone where I will stay for now.
