Cougar 30BHS Generator Mount

Hello, I am considering purchasing the Stromberg Carlson CC-255 generator mount for my travel trailer.

My only concern is that with all of the electrical components including the Giggy box on the “driver side“ of the tongue I’m not sure I will have clearance to mount the bracket for the curved pole that holds up the tray.

Has anyone mounted this specific model on a 30 BHS? Additionally, if I i can mount it and I leave the brackets on, can I take the curved polls out when we’re not boondocking/using the generator?

Here is the link to the unit:

Looking at the picture on the website, it appears that the curved poles are held into the bracket mounted to the frame rails by a single bolt. I would think that you could remove the poles when needed. The front tray support, behind the tongue jack, looks like you would need to remove the entire mount if desired. You could leave that in place in my opinion.

I don't have one of these generator trays or your model of TT, but with a little work, it should work on your rig.

Thank you for the advice.
