InCommand system and Fan-tastic exhaust fan

2019 Fuzion 424: the exhaust fan over the galley is not responding to the touch pad. I’ve mentioned it on Facebook and the only solution I’ve received is to check for a short or disconnected wire.

The fan cover will not open when I use the touch pad. I can manually open and the fan starts spinning. The fan speed doesn’t seem to be controlled by in command either.

I threw a max air cover on it so I could transit with the vent open to keep the temp down during the summer. Now, with four fully charged Battle Borns I should be good to leave that running. I do this with the bathroom Fan-tastic but have a wall control that operates it, and I can leave that fan off with the vent opened.

Just wondering if anyone out there may have a solution. Thanks in advance!

when my in·command sits idle for more then a month or so without any interaction it occasionally stops responding to keypad inputs.
i went in the rig yesterday to turn on the water pump and ac and neither would respond …i keep the rig plugged in 24/7…i turned off the main battery disconnect and turned back on to reset the in·command keypad…it all worked after that

I’d check the relays on the BCM . Also locate the wire color for that Dan and see where it’s tied into on the BCM
