Cable hookup problems

When I hook up to campground cable system all I get is snowy picture. The booster is off, set the tv's for cable and auto program. Had the dealer check and they advised it's fine. Well they don't have to try to watch the tv. I've checked all the connections inside and out that I could find and tighten them up. Still sucks. Any advice?

When we want to use CG cable, we have to unhook the T.V. lead from the booster outlet, remove the co-ax "jumper" and connect the T.V. lead to one of those connectors.
Don't know if that helps and our 5er could be wired wrong - but that method works for us

can you take a picture of the jumper (or some one out there).

I had to unhook the tv attenna in back and hook in the cable for cable. Never could get the bedroom tv to work with cable.

Run cable directly to television thru door or window and check operation. If it works, then it's the rv.
To fix, I don't know what to do.....

Follow advice of direct hook up first

That will tell you (as stated) where the disconnect is. Also, you probably have, but re-check your scan search settings and re-do the search.

On mine, I had issues and took it to an RV dealer when it was nearly new and paid to have it checked and rewired. No problems since. Sattelite, cable or antenna...even installed a booster on the antenna, I believe the name is Wingard, ir something, costs like $30.

These things can be tricky to find where you are not getting a direct feed, BUT, start with a direct connect and work your way backwards. Also, on mine, I have to do a SEPARATE SCAN SEARCH on each tv. Not sure if that pertains to cable, I use sattelite 95% of the time except when traveling.

Enjoy the 4th and be safe out there!

Notice you have a 2010 model, has this been doing it since you bought it new or has it just started lately?
