Factory installs silicone caulking up to the roof?

Hello,

Owner of 2015 Keystone Outback 323BH. When I inspected the roof, I noticed some minor cracking on the front and rear seam. However, the confusing part is that it appears the factory used silicone or something very similar on the sidewall / rear panel corner seam, from the bottom all the way to the top of the roof. Then it meets what I suspect or what looks like dicor roof seal. The silicone type caulking need to be replaced and I'm wondering if this is stock? I did not think you would have dicor meeting with silicone. I've seen other members of the forum mention this silicone type sealant is used everywhere on their rv and it's very well applied to all the seams on this rig as well. What should I use to fix this seal? See attachment for picture.

Thanks for any info!

Mike

Yep, our unit has the silicone sealant up to the roof line and then transitions to Dicor sealant. I did some work on ours this past summer and cleaned up as much of the silicone and Dicor as necessary and replaced with Dicor.
