Water heater problems

Our water heater isn't lighting. Our gas stove works, but our water heater won't light. We are pretty sure it's gas too. We don't have a switch on the inside either, just a pump switch. We have a 2017 Springdale summerland mini.

Your water heater should run on propane, electric, or both. There should be switches to turn on both the gas and the electric located on the inside of your trailer. On the water heater itself, behind the outside access panel, there are two black reset buttons. You can try pushing those. Also on the outside is a switch for the electric side of the water heater. This switch must be on for the electric side of the heater to work. It’s a little black toggle switch that says on and off located in the left bottom.

I hope that helps!

Welcome to the forum!!

Brand/ model of water heater will help a lot. There are water heaters made that are LP only and have a manual pilot lite.

pump switch has nothing to do with the w/h except to push water through the system.

1. make sure you have/had water IN THE TANK if electric. DO NOT TURN YOUR TANK ON IF NO WATER IN IT!

2. get some information here so we can assist, too many variables.
