Slide does not close

I have an 2008 Laredo 265RL, This is my first fifth wheel, so everything is new to me. When you close the slide it touches the top of the camper first and the bottom is still about 2 inches from closing. My question is this normal or is there some adjustment to make it close parrellel?
Thanks
Paul

On my 318SAB the top hits first also, but as you continue to retract the bottom pulls in tight. Keep the power on until you hear a clicking sound and it should be fully retracted.

I believe that it is designed that way in order to insure a complete seal.

Same with the 303TG - you can actually see the bottom/floor that is inside the unit tip up.

That is the way mine works. I just wanted to be sure that this was normal operation.

Thanks
