Passport 245RB Heating System

Hi
I need some Information regarding the heat in a 2008 passport 245rb.
The salesman told me that there is heat in the trailer but there is no
furnace. Is it true or it is hot air?
Thank you for any information you can give me.

From the pictures, it looks like the furnace is under the fridge, just like in mine. Those slats under the fridge are the air intake for the furnace. The furnace vent would be on the outside in the same spot and look like this:

If you look in my sig picture below, you can see. Just to the right of the tree is my fridge vent panel with the three horizontal vents. Right below that is my furnace vent.

Nice play on words .... The trailer came from the factory with a "hot air" gas furnace. If it was removed by the previous owner there should be evidence of where it was as f6bits described. Travel safely and welcome to the forum, Hank

I would like to thank you for your input.Maybe I overlooked or did not understand the saleman.I saw the plate,as in your picture, but I thought
it was the exhaust for the fridge.See this happens when you do not know
and do not ask even stupid questions.
Again thank you.

Thanks for the info.Even though the rig looks clean,I do not know too much
since I am new to the rvworld and going through the learnig process. There
are no obvious signs but the previous owner took the TV and the DVD
player so that makes me think. Also I do not think that the sales person
knows too much.I would appreciate any additional info you might have
Thanks

If you want to thoroughly explore a trailer, you can use a Pre-Delivery Inspection checklist to test out all the features:

Youse guys are the greatest! I too am about to drop the hammer on my first TT. Actually, second, decided to go for 2010 springdale 291, instead of the 2006 I had originally bought but never took delivery on.
Anyway, I had done some homework, but that checklist is really handy. Thanks for looking out for us newbies!
