USA Made Mini Grease Gun

Can anyone recommend a quality, USA made mini grease gun?

Mini as in pistol grip type hand pump type? I assume you want manual hand type.. USA made might be difficult but I'd check with NAPA, Tractor Supply, or on line but I'd bet most are made in China or overseas somewhere..
Might also try Snap-on, Mac, Matco or other tool makers... most have trucks you'll see stopped at Auto repairs and dealerships for the techs there... they might have something USA made... Best I can do...

My grease guns from Oreillys (Kragens back then) may be Chinese, but they haven’t failed in 10+ yrs now.

I bought one of these from HF 10 or 15 years ago. https://www.harborfreight.com/grease...ase-95575.html It's still being used, hangs in the pole barn all winter and never seems to stop doing what I bought it to do.. Total cost back then: Around $6. Now they're all the way up to $9.99. With the occasional 20% off coupon, cost is about what I paid way back when.

The last one I bought was maybe 30 years or so ago. I think it's a Lucas Oil marine gun. Still going strong but who knows where it's made these days. Heck, now days US flags aren't made in the USA.

I've had a HF mini & regular grease guns for years, both still pump grease the same as the day they were bought.

I've been using LockNLube products for quite a while now and they are excellent and the company stands behind the products they sell. https://locknlube.com

Hope I didn't indicate that I don't use HF tools.. I do, but I'm pretty selective of which I buy.. We've all had to go the overseas route on tools... From what I understand even Snap-on tools are being made outside of the USA...
That being said, I have a Bosch battery powered grease gun.. 15years old works perfectly and I've got an Air Powered grease gun from Mac going on 25 or 30 years old and two manual pump grease guns from HF... all work perfectly...Do the job and work fine... but finding one that isn't from overseas will be difficult...

I got a grease gun at NAPA that has served me well. It is the pistol grip, single hand type. Easy to use. Not a mini, uses a standard cartridge. Most likely imported.

Surprised I didn't get asked why I have so many grease guns... If you've ever done any work on a Kenworth W900 and related trains and or trailer lying on your back in the driveway, you know that Battery powered grease guns are the cats a$$.... The others were purchased at different times over my wrench turning career...I'm a tool hoarder.. LOL..

sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread...

bought an upper level (higher cost) grease gun and a tube of Mobil 1 grease (red) from Advance Auto when I installed the new equalizers and wet bolts a few months back. That dang gun leaked oil from the grease at every possible point on the gun. I put it in a large bag with paper towels and stored it away. It just oozed out a red oily residue that wicked everywhere. I wiped it off, put it out at a garage sale for $10 and it sold first thing. Figure I'll buy a different brand next year when it's time to grease the bearings and wet bolts.

That Mobil1 grease is very runny.
I would start looking for a quality grease gun at http://www.lincolnindustrial.com/pro...reaseguns.aspx
Lincoln lube equipment was used on all my fans in the previous life.

I had a small can of that grease years ago when I was boating. Opened it up and saw the oil floating on top and said nope, not using that. That said, it still should not run pass the O ring in a decent grease gun.

For those reading that use the EZ lube system to add grease to wheel bearings, DO NOT use either of these grease gun types on that system or you'll be greasing brake shoes also, which BTW is not a recommended maintenance item.
I'd recommend NEVER use the EZ lube, remove & hand pack only!

I have a nice little one I purchased from John Deere. It's small. I found this one on Amazon: click here But I prefer going into the store myself. Doing a search on-line, they might be found at places like Wall Mart, Home Depot, or Lowes too. I've never checked there though, since I have a John Deere shop near my home and I prefer to go there.

Thanks to everyone for your input.

Bob & Becky: I ordered one from LocknLube per your suggestion.

No dealers in my area... I'm a "hands on" person for particular things and I'd like to see it in person before I buy it. This will be one of those particular things. (but that didn't do me any good with the previous one now did it?! )
