ID:	31353Christmas gift from my daughter...I think it will solve the problem of making coffee while boondocking while using my inverter..I didn’t think batteries would handle the amp draw of a keurig.
Now just have to figure out how to make a good cup of coffee in it

Best coffee maker. We do perk every outing. Find the wrap filters and use them. Makes it easier to get the grounds out.

We have been using one for years, even when tent camping. We find using a coarse grind (not drip) makes for a less chewable last cup.

X2 on the filters and the grind. We used a stove top perc for decades (used them on the boats). Until we got lazy and it's primarily just the DW and I. We used to buy the filters at Walmart, don't know if they still sell them. For coffee we use Costco whole bean that's Starbucks coffee. Before Costco (or it's AKA Price Club) it was 8'oclock.

Always bought whole bean as it stays fresh longer. At home we grind for each pot both a large burr grinder. In the camper we used one of those small electric grinders that have blades. With those grinders use a "pulsing" method as just letting the blades continue to run at high speed can "burn" the coffee and you'll end up with too fine of a grind for a perculator.

So much work...! The DW is probably right, I have "no taste" - at least when it comes to morning coffee.

We use one of these to heat the water and pour it over Folger's Instant coffee. Maybe I'm lazy, but is sure is a lot quicker and easier - and I can't really discriminate between this and Fu Fu coffee. Probably because I drank 35 years of "pipeline" coffee - wasn't good unless it tasted like it was drained off the bottom of an old petroleum tank.

Guess I'm just lucky

Reminds me of early camping days with a big pot, not a percolator, of boiling coffee on the campfire, good ole' cowboy coffee, you drank the top 1/2 of the cup & chewed the bottom 1/2!

I don't care for " Fu Fu" coffee either but I do have taste buds that aren't burned out. I like what I consider "good coffee" brewed correctly just the same as I like prime rib and t-bone steak cooked med rare over a sirloin that's well done. To each their own.

Thanks I will ask my wife to pick up some at Costco!

When we traveled on a motorcycle we used a percolator. Now that we RV the percolator is retired, we don't like perked coffee.

Push the button on the inverter remote and make drip coffee in silence.
