Keystone Hideout 26RLS orangy powder on floor
I noticed on the floor in front of the fridge on our TT this orangy/white type fine powder. I have cleaned it up but it has come back. We have not used the TT for about a year but check on it every week or so. The fridge is not on. Took the outside panel off to look at the fridge but didn't see anything. Any thoughts?

Welcome to the forum
If you have removed the lower outside fridge access panel and didn’t see any powder, that’s a real good thing. If you do, leave it alone it is ammonia powder and hazardous.
Is the outside fridge clear?

How old is the trailer/fridge? You've not posted that anywhere.

Your questions could be answered with more context if you put together a signature with year/make/model of your camper and same for your tow vehicle. To build a signature, go to UserCP at top left of every page and make sure you save it when done.

Didn't see anything when we took the outside panel off. We'll look again tomorrow.

It means the cooling unit is comprised and needs to be replaced.

Removed the outside panel and no powder or residue. I vacuumed up some dead wasps. I think there may be a mud dauber somewhere in the back causing the orange powder. The powder was always orange, never yellow. Don't smell any ammonia. Will investigate on how to get to back of unit to check. Thanks everyone for your feedback.

Good deal, if you actually “smelled” ammonia you would probably be posting from the ER.
