Bunk Bed ideas for Toddlers (rails or sliding system)

We are picking up a new 2022 32bhs. we have 2.5 year old and want something we can attach to the bunk so he wont roll out or push his way out. Looking for ideas and pictures of what others have done.

This is a couple pictures of a drop down bed rail I made for our top bunk when my kids were young. It’s in our last camper which had a twin top bunk and full bottom bunk. Before that we used a portable bed rail that has 2 legs that slide under the mattress and can be purchased in the baby/ young kids department at places like Walmart.

Sorry to revive an old thread I started. Finally got around to figuring out a solution. Got an expandable baby gate. Reinforced some of it in spots with some small screws. Attached at each end with screws as well. Took off the trim pieces in the areas where the gate was and screwed it to the wall where the trim strip pieces were and saved the trim to reinstall after the kids are a little bigger. Have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. Hopefully this will hold up for a few years. The center of this gate is solid now after attaching it together with some small wood screws
