2020 gmc 3500

I purchased a used 2020 3500 that has some amazing cameras. One of the optional cameras is for the rear of an RV.

We currently have the Furrion camera on the back of our 2019 Montana 3931FB.

My question is will the GM camera work with a 5th wheel that long?

I am hoping that it will because the GM cameras are way clearer than the Furrion camera.

I don’t have one but the cable that comes with the GM camera is 60’ long. I have stayed with my furrion as I like that it is wireless, has a differing screen so I can keep the map app on my GM screen. I use the camera for lane changes, etc. If GM came up with a way that the camera displayed in my rear view mirror then I would change my mind.

And you are right, the cameras on the truck are amazing. The view it gives you when you signal to turn takes a lot of the guesswork out of it.
