Roofs

How often do you all clean your rvs roof? and with what?Our old camper had aluminum siding and we had to clean the roof alot due to black streacks on it ,but our new one is fiber glass easier to keep clean .

I clean ours earley spring when we take it out of hibernation and again mid summer. I only use dawn dish detergant on it.

Just cleaned mine this past weekend. Used water and Borax from a ladder using a brush and extension pole. Worked very well. Roof looks great! I would seal with 303 Protectant but I am not comfortable with getting up on the roof. I am thinking about rigging up some contraption that would allow me to put a cotton cloth on an extension rod of some sort (I.e., Swiffer). Come to think of it...Lowes sells a pole and pad for wood floors that might just work! I would feel better if it was sealed but Id be content with clean. Was looking bad after just one seasonl
